Salsa Suelta

A form of dancing to salsa music.
Salsa Suelta means to dance free or loose. Similar to line dancing and Casino Rueda, there is often a leader who calls out names of set moves or simply dances a move for the rest of the group to follow. The dance moves may be borrowed from dances related to salsa, from jazz and hip-hop to rumba and orishos.

This dance is a vibrant, lively, energetic and expressive that is aimed at those who wish to:
- Keep fit
- Increase confidence on the dance floor or in general
- Improve dance style and technique
- Meet new people
- Understand movement and timing
- Dance free
- Develop flavour and uniqueness in dance.
Class is conducted in loose comfortable clothing and footwear.
Soft soled shoes that support the heel of the foot is recommended. If you already dance and prefer to wear dance shoes that’s ok providing you are used to wearing heeled shoes for dancing.
Next Class Dates for 2012
19th February 6pm – 7pm
26th February 6pm – 7pm
4th March 6pm – 7pm
11th March 6pm – 7pm
(free cd to all attending on this evening )
Please bring with you some bottled water and come prepared to laugh, smile and have fun.
